  • BBR Music Group is thrilled to announce the promotion of Matthew Holmberg to the label group’s Director of Marketing.
  • After playing an integral role in Nashville-based indie folk trio Judah & the Lion’s growth, from playing coffee shops to selling out Red Rocks Amphitheater, Ben Hutto rises from Artist Manager to a new position as Director of Brands and Sponsorships at Triple 8 Management.
WENT TO IT
  • Great way to kick-off CMA Awards week with the 11th annual BBR-BMG Pre-CMA Party at The Nashville Bowl (major upgrade from the previous home of this party, The Hard Rock). Can’t begin to express how amazing it felt to catch up with so many folks that I hadn’t seen in almost two years. It really felt like a reunion. So much new talent was on display but the four who stood out the most to me were Blanco Brown, Lainey Wilson, Frank Ray, and Elvie Shane. Lainey has an amazing presence and energy on stage. Blanco is an artist who knows exactly who he is – so comfortable in his own skin as a performer. Frank has off-the-charts charisma. Elvie has an authenticity/realness to him that reminds me of Eric Church. I’ll post some highlights on @MorningHangover InstaStory in the morning!
