  • CMT is honored to celebrate Pride Month with a special week of programming: Queer Music Week, celebrating LGBTQ+ voices in the country music industry. The centerpiece of these efforts is a 50-minute panel discussion “Queer In Country Music: A Conversation” hosted by CMT’s Cody Alan, featuring artists Brandy Clark, Billy Gilman, and Chely Wright. The panel debuts today on CMT’s Facebook and YouTube channels at 5p/4c.

  • In partnership with Cracker Barrel, CeCe Winans, Tauren Wells, Shane McAnally, Kylie Morgan and Jennifer Nettles are launching #CareItForward, an initiative designed to help us all take a deep breath, reconnect, and inspire us all to pay it forward and care for each other just as these artists are doing. Rooted in the company’s history of caring for employees and guests like family, #CareItForward encourages consumers to share their own acts of care with #CareItForward on social to keep the effort going.  Through mentorship sessions, popular stars will pair up with up-and-coming artists to reinvigorate and coach them after a tough year. They’ll swap stories, perform songs, and commit to caring it forward to others. All mentorship sessions will be directed by renowned director and producer Whitney Clinkscales.
