  • Brett Young returned to his Southern California roots with the launch of his inaugural CALIVILLE WEEKEND this past weekend in Palm Springs. Set against scenic backdrops, Young’s three-day resort takeover featured main stage performances by Chase Rice, Maddie & Tae and Young, along with additional performances by Devin Dawson, Seaforth, Filmore, Keaton Simons, Noah Needleman, Matt Ferranti, DJ Hish & DJ Coral. Presented by Pollen, festival-goers were treated to nonstop action from daytime pool parties, BBQs and golfing with Young. Kohl’s provided gift bags to the first ten guests at check-in and to winners of the golf scramble. As the exclusive retailer of Young’s Caliville lifestyle apparel, Kohl’s also provided attire to Young and his band.

  • Bobby Bones launched his inaugural BOBBYFEST —an all day, family-friendly music festival hitting two cities over two days — this past weekend in New Braunfels, TX (9/4) and Wichita, KS (9/5). With main stage performances both nights by Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots, Russell Dickerson and Maddie & Tae, the action-packed event also included performances on the side stage from Walker Burroughs, Taylor Acorn, Nikita Karmen, and Boy Named Banjo, while The Bobby Bones Show’s Raymundo hosted Super Easy Trivia and a Dunk Tank. Sarahbeth Taite performed on Saturday only and Seaforth performed on Sunday only. Additionally, festival-goers were treated to face painters, balloon artists and more.

  • The philanthropic arm of the  Country Music Association,  the  CMA Foundation,  is continuing its efforts toward  supporting  equitable  music education opportunities  across the U.S. with the announcement of  Tenille Townes  as the non-profit’s newest Artist Ambassador.  During her time as a CMA Foundation Artist Ambassador, Townes  will visit Stewarts Creek Middle School in Smyrna, TN, and Isaiah T. Creswell Middle Magnet School of the Visual and Performing Arts in Nashville, as well as two additional elementary schools in nearby Coffee County. Through these visits and other programming, the CMA Foundation aims to engage, equip and empower both students and educators through the healing power of music.
