In 1940 MTN DEW was born out of an act of refreshment rebellion and since then, has kept the rebel charge alive for fans across the country. Nearly 80 years later, MTN DEW is going back to its roots to celebrate with the DEW Nation and the dynamic, trail-blazin’ makers and artists that call Tennessee home.  MTN DEW will turn Nashville destination Ole Red, DEW-green and feature epic DEW X “Tennessee Original” experiences and live performances. In the days leading up to the Oct. 22nd event, MTN DEW will hit the road, popping up at select Food City locations across the state, where fans who locate LOCASH-autographed DEW cans throughout the store, will win an all-expenses-paid trip to “The Tennessee Original Outpost.” The event goes from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. CT.  Throughout the celebration, fans can get their hands on specialty items like DEW-branded leather goods, mural painting with East Side Murals and enjoy a line-up of TN-born or bred live musical acts, including country duo LOCASH, Matt Rogers, Garrett Speer, and Casee Allen.  Fans will also get to try out specialty DEW cocktails.

Sony Music Nashville has announced the signing of singer/songwriter Adam Doleac to the Arista Nashville imprint. Doleac’s “Famous,” which he co-wrote with Andy Skib and Bobby Hamrick, will officially ship to country radio as his first Arista Nashville single on Dec. 16th. If you listen to The Highway, you def heard his breakthrough hit “Whiskey’s Fine”

Robbie Robertson, Keith Wortman, Sebastian Robertson and Blackbird Presents are thrilled to announce The Last Waltz Nashville: An All-Star Celebration of the Band’s Historic Farewell Concert to be held on Saturday, November 23rd at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville/ This inaugural holiday event captures the excitement of The Band’s historic 1976 Thanksgiving concert with some of music’s biggest stars including Darius Rucker, Michael McDonald, Emmylou Harris, Vince Gill, Nathaniel Rateliff, Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, Margo Price, Don Was, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Dave Malone, Bob Margolin, Terence Higgins and Mark Mullins & The Levee Horns. This once in a lifetime concert event includes a rare, very special appearance by music icon Robbie Robertson of The Band.

ET Brown and Lydia Schultz will share dual management roles leading SESAC’s Nashville Creative Services department. Effective immediately, Brown and Schultz have each been promoted to Sr. Director, Creative Services. In their new roles! In his expanded role, Brown will manage SESAC Pop/Rock and Americana genres. In addition, Brown will lead the efforts of identifying and cultivating new talent while working closely with industry organizations to develop opportunities that bring value to SESAC songwriters and publishers. Schultz will manage the Country genre in Nashville while providing support and guidance to existing affiliates as well as discovering new talent in the songwriting community. Schultz will continue to generate and maintain long-standing relationships within the industry while developing new songwriter initiatives.
