  • Michelle Kammerer will join Amazon Music as Head of Country Music. MTK builds on the strong foundation laid by the fabulous Kelly Rich and will lead all efforts to continue growing country music listening on the service, inclusive of marketing, and artist and label relations through new initiatives and collaborations with a wide range of artists. Michelle will be based in Nashville, and report to Andre Stapleton, Global Head of Artist and Label Relations for Amazon Music.
  • Music Health Alliance (MHA) announced two new hires at the Nashville-based non-profit. Industry radio and promotion vet Denise Roberts and Sophia Rhoades have been added as Managers of Advocacy & Insurance.

  • For the first time in 29 months, Kenny Chesney walked onto a stage, playing at the intimate Key West Theater in the historic town where Florida ends. With two guitarists and a keyboard player, the quiet songwriter/superstar settled in a chair with an acoustic guitar and absorbed the power of the moment and played for 100 minutes. “Kenny Chesney: Live from the Key West Theater” will be rebroadcast on SiriusXM’s No Shoes Radio via satellite (ch. 57) and the SXM App on Friday, October 8th at 9:00 pm ET, Saturday October 9th at 12:00 pm ET and 6:00 pm ET, and Sunday October 10th at 3:00 pm ET.
