  • Great weekend in California on the next-to-last weekend of Brad Paisley’s tour as he rolled through Mountain View and Chula Vista! BP remains at the top of his game as a performer and entertainer. Not many artists have the different levers and diversity of tempos that Brad brings to a show. It begins with the anthemic “City of Music,” elevates to a fun/summer “Riverbank,” and flows into his terrific chart-climbing duet with Jimmie Allen, “Freedom Was A Highway.” He then seamlessly transitions into the power-ballad “Perfect Storm” and then delivers fan-favorites “Water” and “Online.” Brad’s rockstar guitar abilities add a more performative atmosphere to his ballads like “Then” and “Waitin’ On A Woman” which keeps the show’s pace moving, even during the ballads. Just when you’ve caught your breath, he hits a barrage of hits including “Old Alabama,” “Ticks,” “I’m Still A Guy,” “This Is Country Music,” “American Saturday Night,” and “Celebrity.” He then strips it down to just him and the guitar to play “Whiskey Lullaby.” The show concludes with an uplifting trio of “I’m Gonna Miss Her, “Mud on the Tires” & “Today” with the “Alcohol” encore. With every show, in every city, Brad delivers an engaging and immersive entertainment experience that is a must-see!
