  • JTV®, the national jewelry retailer and broadcast network, is excited to announce its joint initiative with the CMA Foundation and the Opry Trust Fund, Inc. (Opry Trust). This six-week-long fundraising effort aims to raise money for both the CMA Foundation and the Opry Trust. CMA Foundation proceeds will support music education programs in schools and organizations, and Opry Trust proceeds will help families in the country music community that have been impacted by COVID-19 through assistance with utilities, living expenses and medical bills. The Back the Beat campaign will run from Oct. 1 through Nov. 15 and center around a commemorative keychain sold exclusively by JTV. Additionally, JTV will be auctioning off autographed memorabilia from some of country music’s biggest stars, including Luke Combs, Lady A, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, and Rhett Akins, and many more.
  • Opry Entertainment Group has announced updates to its growing Artist & Label Strategy Team as well as to its WSM Radio team. Jenn Tressler was recently promoted to Artist & Label Strategy Senior Manager. Anna Lemme has come on board as an Artist & Label Strategy Manager.

  • CMT has evealed its all-star lineup of performers for the 2021 “CMT Artists of the Year” special, airing LIVE from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday at 9p/8c on CMT. The celebration promises to be an unforgettable night, with a stacked lineup of solo performances from 2021 honorees Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown and Luke Combs plus four can’t-miss world premieres. This year’s “Breakout Artist of the Year” Mickey Guyton will take the stage alongside fellow GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Yola; Boyz II Men will team up with Kevin Olusola of Pentatonix for a never-before-seen collaboration to honor Chris Stapleton; Kelsea Ballerini will welcome her fellow tourmates Jonas Brothers for a special remote performance straight from their “The Remember This Tour”; and Walker Hayes will make his CMT “Artists of the Year” debut with the first-ever award show performance of his smash hitFancy Like.”
