Dolly Parton is returning to NBC and will perform at one of the most iconic stages in the world when “Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Grand Ole Opry” airs Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT. The special is a celebration of Parton’s 50 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. It will feature new interviews as well as a performance from Parton on the Opry stage where she’ll deliver some of her biggest hits in front of a live audience. In addition, her superstar friends – Dierks Bentley, Emmylou Harris, Chris Janson, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Margo Price, Hank Williams Jr. and others – will also be on board to celebrate Parton’s career and perform.

The plans for the 2019 CMT Artists of the Year (Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on October 16 at 8pm ET/PT. ) This Is Us star Chrissy Metz (and longtime country fan) will be performing to honor Luke Combs. Her co-star from the show, Lonnie Chavis (the young Randall Pearson), will be there as a presenter. Sam Hunt will take the stage to honor Reba — CMT Artist of a Lifetime honoree — with a tribute performance. Lady Antebellum will do the same to pay tribute to Reba. Vince Gill will be there to present that award to Reba. The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki, Bobby Bones , Lauren Akins, Maddie & Tae will take the stage to present as well.
