ON THE HOUSE

The highlight of my week by far is going to be Friday and Saturday night when Eric Church brings his Double Down Tour to The Anthem in Washington D.C. I haven’t been to an Eric Church show since 2015, which is insane to me, since he is the reason why I’m a country music fan in the first place. Seeing him by chance back in May of 2011, opening for Jason Aldean, literally changed the entire trajectory of my life. I never imagined that 8 years later, I’d be a small part of this genre that I love so much.

FRONT OF THE HOUSE

Ana Cristina Cash made her Grand Ole Opry debut at the Ryman Auditorium. In honor of this prestigious appearance, Mayor of Nashville, John Cooper, and Mayor Jamie Clary of Hendersonville, Tennessee, issued proclamations in support of Ana Cristina Cash’s Grand Ole Opry debut on Nov. 9, 2019. The powerhouse vocalist’s family was in attendance as well as her husband, John Carter Cash.

TAILGATE WATCH

REBA announced on Insta: “I’m so excited to get back out on the road in 2020 and visit some places I haven’t been to in a while! Tickets for select dates go on sale Friday, November 22. Head over to Reba.com for all the info.”

AT THE BAR

Dierks Bentley alongside Riot Hospitality (RHG) revealed plans for a Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Denver, CO marking the fifth location nationwide. With construction set to begin in January 2020, the new location will takeover the downtown area’s historic 1942-1946 Market St. as design improvements will be made to preserve and enhance the significance of the buildings. The two-story infill structure will include an extended patio and rooftop addition with a grand opening to be revealed at a later date.

NEAT

This is a pretty great moment – during an intv on The Ty Bentli Show, Ty plays Carrie Underwood a clip of Miranda Lambert talking about how much she feels Carrie deserves to win Entertainer of The Year. The clip made Carrie cry and really highlighted how much the award would mean to her. It was also a great moment of women supporting other women.
