  • Monument Records and SMACKSongs hosted the first Tuesday Night Music Club at the Basement East – a monthly residency at the venue celebrating the return of live music. The sold out show was headlined by Walker Hayes, in anticipation of his forthcoming EP Country Stuff. His full band show was preceded by a songwriter session that included Grammy Winners Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, along with Monument Record’s Teddy Robb, and EMI Nashville’s Kylie Morgan.

On the 35th Anniversary of its original release, Country Music Hall of Fame member Randy Travis has announced a remastered version of his triple-platinum, genre-defining debut album with the addition of never-before-heard tracks. Storms of Life (35th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) will be released September 24th with pre-order beginning August 27th. The album will include remastered versions of all ten original tracks plus three unreleased songs found in the vault.

  • Chris Janson will perform a pre-race concert on track at Nashville Superspeedway prior to the “Ally 400” NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, June 20th. Chris will display his high-octane, multi-instrumental talents while performing his No. 1 hits on a stage near the start-finish line between the morning Cup Series qualifying session (10:05 a.m.) and the afternoon “Ally 400” (2:30 p.m., NBCSN), the first Cup Series race in Middle Tennessee in 37 years. Grandstand gates open at 9 a.m. on Father’s Day.

  • The Country Radio Broadcasters have announced the Class of 2021 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductees. This year’s list includes four off-air radio broadcasters and four on-air radio personalities.  The off-air honorees are Bob Call, RJ Curtis, Bill Hagy, and Norm Schrutt. The on-air honorees are Heather Froglear, Buzz Jackson, Bob Pickett, and Angie Ward. The Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 
    to be held in person Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.
