BUZZIN

NEAT

Warner Music Nashville’s Gabby Barrett is celebrating the release of her debut album, GOLDMINE, this week with two unique and imaginative fan-facing digital experiences. Collaborating with adventure and tour company Let’s Roam on their first-ever music experience, and lending support and awareness to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, Barrett has created a free and original series of indoor scavenger hunts to uncover the joy of her new album in an innovative and memorable way while reaching her global audience. The creative quests will include trivia questions, photo and video challenges, watching/listening to new songs on the album, and tasks to share on social media. All participants need is a mobile phone and the Let’s Roam app to be guided through the first introduction to GOLDMINE. Fans will earn one entry into the contest for each completed daily scavenger hunt (up to 5 entries) for a chance to win a Zoom call with Barrett. Because of generous donations from supporters like Barrett’s fans, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Willie Nelson and his sister, Family band member Bobbie Nelson, comes ME AND SISTER BOBBIE: TRUE TALES OF THE FAMILY BAND, a heartfelt memoir of the lifelong bond between Willie and his only sibling Bobbie, who tells her own incredible story here for the first time. After being abandoned by their parents as very young children and becoming each other’s abiding relationship for more than  eight decades, this dual memoir, told in alternating chapters, weaves together Willie and Bobbie’s journeys as they experienced them both side-by-side and apart, with powerful, emotional never-before-told recollections from their personal lives and careers. Through dizzying highs and traumatic lows, ME AND SISTER BOBBIE shows that nobody knows you like your family. ME AND SISTER BOBBIE was edited by Executive Editor Ben Greenberg and will be published on September 15th as a Random House Hardcover.

SHOT

Adam Hambrick, premiered his new music video “Between Me and The End of the World,” created by Dawson Waters, the animated video is full of symbolism, portraying a couple blissfully walking together through life unsure of the turbulent moments that lie ahead. The singer/songwriter wrote the ballad as a tribute to his wife, a physician assistant who has been treating patients throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
