WENT TO IT ON FRIDAY

I thought Thursday’s crowd for Justin Moore at Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach was good, but Friday’s was somehow even better and louder. I think this is as much fun as I’ve seen Justin have on stage in all the years I’ve watched him perform. My fav part was probably the encore, which had no setlist and featured a combination of medley’s of JM album cuts, country classic covers, and fan-favorites like “Flying Down A Back Road” – an encore that went on for a good 20+minutes. It was just really special to be there for this and I’m so grateful to Team JR (Joey + JR) and new friends like (DJ Don) for the best two days I’ve had in a long long time! Check out our Justin Moore featured InstaStories for highlights of both nights!
WENT TO IT ON SATURDAY

So I drove back to home-base from Delaware, getting home at 3 a.m., so I could make it out to the Luke Bryan “Proud To Be Here Tour” ft Dylan Scott & Caylee Hammack (more on her in Wednesday’s #WCW edition) in Bristow, VA. This was the party I’ve been waiting 15 months for. I think after so much time away from the live experience, I have an even greater appreciation for Luke’s charisma and natural showmanship than I did pre-pandemic. It was also the first time I’ve gotten to hear his newer hits like “Down to One,” “Waves,” “One Margarita,” “What She Wants Tonight,” live. This was just a night full of unique moments and surprises thanks to it being Luke’s actual birthday! Check out highlights of the biggest bday party in Virginia on our Morning Hangover featured InstaStories.
GO TO IT

If you’re planning on hitting Luke’s tour this summer, be sure to get there by 8 p.m. so you can see my man Dylan Scott take things to the next level. First, let me just say I loved experiencing his new song, “New Truck,” live, that thing is gonna be a hit! Second, if there ever was a guy who was tailormade to be on a Luke Bryan tour, it’s Dylan – just the right blend of contemporary country with hits like “Hooked” and “My Girl” along with a true appreciation for 90’s country. One of the best moments of the entire night is when Dylan stripped it down (pun intended) acoustically to perform a medley of 90s covers from Tim McGraw, David Lee Murphy, and his personal fav Keith Whitley. If I could give Dylan a nickname, it would be “The Hybrid” because that’s really what he is. He also has a terrific stage presence and a jolt of charisma that’ll get your a$$ off your seat and ready to party!

Special shoutout to Kerri Edwards for always supporting the Morning Hangover and taking care of me. You’re just the absolute best!
