ON THE JUKEBOX

Last year’s Songs for The Saints Tour took Kenny Chesney to the fans in places he doesn’t always get to and ended up inspiring him in powerful ways. His first true studio project for Warner Music Nashville, the album that’s taking shape, has been carefully shaped to reflect the people who mean the most to him. The East Tennessee songwriter began amassing songs, experimenting in the studio and working to find the right mix of sounds, themes, and feelings. Making this project over the last few years allowed for unique collaborations with the best musicians who’ve been part of recordings that have defined coming of age in the 21st century. Some rocking, some thoughtful, the high energy performer wants this record to speak to and connect with the fans who’ve found his music something to believe in no matter their state of being. No word on album title, how many tracks or release date, but work on Chesney’s first Warner Music Nashville record is obviously focusing and finishing up. With his Chillaxification 2020 Tour kicking off April 18th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the only country artist on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years is ready to reconnect with the No Shoes Nation!

FRONT OF THE HOUSE

Nashville’s famed Exit/In was the place to be as Kalie Shorr kicked off her Too Much To Say Tour.” Fans got the first taste of the high energy, honest and raw show that Kalie will be bringing to cities across the country. It is clear that the critically-acclaimed songstress is in her element on stage as she opens up to fans about her influences and the heartbreaking events that led to the songs on her debut album, Open Book. She effortlessly mixes her pop-punk covers with her country storytelling songs. This is not a show to be missed.

BACKSTAGE PASS

TEMECULA ROAD performed their new song “Take Back” over the weekend during their debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry House.  While Maddie, Emma, and Dawson made their Opry debut in November at the historic Ryman, Saturday night marked their first step inside the iconic Circle center stage at the Opry House. Couldn’t be happier for this talented trio who I’ve become such a big fan of as I’ve gotten to experience their music firsthand quite a few times in the last year! Expect big things from these guys!
