The King of Country Music George Strait will release a brand-new album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, on Friday, March 29th on MCA Nashville. Comprised of 12 original titles plus Strait’s version of the Johnny Paycheck classic “Old Violin,” Honky Tonk Time Machine marks his 30th career studio album. Strait, who produced the album alongside Chuck Ainlay, wrote eight of the 13 tracks including “Sing One with Willie” featuring Willie Nelson that the pair happily debuted at a recent Nashville show marking the first time the two country icons have ever shared the stage.

Curb Records’ rising star DYLAN SCOTT has released a new taste from his anticipated NOTHING TO DO TOWN – EP (expected April 26), with “You Got Me.” Penned by Justin Wilson, Jason Sever, and Kyle Fishman, the grooving ballad embraces an all-in kind of love. Following an eight-year exploration, documentary giant Ken Burns’s 16-hour “Country Music” premieres in the fall of 2019 on PBS. In honor of the profile on “Country Music,” Ryman Auditorium will present “Country Music: Live at the Ryman, a Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns.” Burns will host the evening, presented by Bank of America, featuring performances by Dierks Bentley, Rosanne Cash, Rodney Crowell, Rhiannon Giddens, Vince Gill, Brenda Lee, Kathy Mattea, Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, Asleep at the Wheel, Holly Williams and Dwight Yoakam on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Tickets to “Country Music: Live at the Ryman, a Concert Celebrating the Film by Ken Burns” will go on sale February 8 at 10:00am central via ticketmaster.com, Ryman.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. “Country Music: Live at the Ryman” will be recorded for broadcast on PBS at a later date. In addition to live performances, the event will show select clips from the film, and be produced by Opry Entertainment, PBS and Florentine Films.
