  • The CRB Board of Directors is proud to announce the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship program, which will debut at CRS 2022. In honor of the late Lisa McKay, who successfully programmed WQDR/Raleigh for 16 years and was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2018, the Lisa McKay Women in Radio Scholarship program will award three aspiring female radio programmers the opportunity to attend their first-ever CRS. Each scholarship package will include complimentary registration, hotel, and airfare for CRS 2022, held February 23-25, 2022. Scholars will be recognized at CRS 2022 during CRS Honors, which is the kick-off to the 3-day event.

  • Right now, MTV and CMT are exclusively airing the premiere of Kacey Musgraves’ music video for “justified,” her second song of her highly anticipated fourth studio album star-crossedarriving September 10th (Interscope/MCA Nashville). The video is premiering across MTV, MTV Live, MTVU, CMT, CMT Music and on the ViacomCBS Times Square billboard. It was also announced that Kacey will make her MTV VMAs debut on September 12th!

  • Old Dominion is set to perform at the T-Mobile Kickoff Concert on September 4th ahead of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game featuring #1 Alabama vs. #14 Miami in Atlanta, GA. The T-Mobile Kickoff Concert is the centerpiece of Tailgate Town presented by PNC, a free pre-game Fan Festival outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Doors open at 10:30 am ET, with Old Dominion’s performance beginning at 12 pm ET. No tickets are required.

The Grand Ole Opry is partnering with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee during this Saturday’s live Opry broadcast (August 28) to help raise money for those affected by the catastrophic flooding last weekend in Middle Tennessee. Donations can be made at www.cfmt.org/opry.
